I drive this stretch of 43 quite often, in fact 4 times in the last 5 days. And I always drive with my radar detector on. This stretch is a high accident area, residential with lots of possible turn offs and curves, posted 35 mph and also posted as a high enforcement area but I've only seen Highway Patrol a hand full of times so far this year even on a Fri or Sat night, and nothing on Memorial Day or July 4th weekends. They usually get serious again after an accident, usually caused by some speeder. They clocked one moron doing 75 before he lost it going into a curve.
