State Route 5 near Highway 5 Bridge

Norfork, ArkansasMay 15, 20083 Comments

The approach to the city of Norfork is across a bridge and into a 35 mph zone. The 35 mph sign, however, is not viible until after you cross into town. The police officer sits just past the grocery store on the West side of the road. The Norfork police car (the only one) is a grey charger w/low profile rack. Since the police force is recently created, (as of spring 2008) he has been very dilligent! Keep your speed to 35, and don’t look suspicious.

Comments:
The whole city of Norfork is a speed trap. The chief has his son as his assistant chief. Don't go 2 miles an hour over the speed limit or you will be stopped.

This town has about 500 people having this police dept was never about protection for its people it has always been about revenue. They do a great job collecting revenue and up to this point. I have seen no concern for the people other than ther money. The tag teem works well to make sure that the revenue keeps comming in. Be real carfull driving through this town they do a good job of hidding also.
