State Route 5 near Western Gateway Bridge
Scotia Police wait at the western end of the bridge hiding at the side pointing eastbound. The speed limit on the bridge is 40 and goes down to 30 as soon as you cross it. They are usually there early in the morning (3-6 am) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This one might appear to be a trap, but the village has had a real problem with speed off of the bridge for years. The intersection sees a lot of speed related accidents each year. I agree that the timing of enforcement is opportunistic and they should do it when traffic is heavier.
