State Route 560 near State Route 55
A little tiny cross road village on two state routes,with a stop/caution light.The sheriff likes to sit in a church parking lot on the North end of S.R.560 and catch motorist as they accelerate leaving town.The posted speed is 25 mph,I was ticketed for going 37 mph. I thought the limit was 35 mph as I never noticed the speed signs as it was getting dark and there are no street lights.I confronted the officer that this was nothing but a speed trap.He just put his head down and said "Yea well" and went back to his car to write the ticket.

It is not the sheriff and it is not a church lot. It is the Tremont City PD and they hide all over the area and side streets odd of Mulberry/Upper Valley Pike. They like to hide on Church Hill Road with no lights on. They also hide in private driveways, especially if the house is empty and for sale. The building on the north edge of town this poster mentions is an old school house which is now a private home.
