State Route 57 North near Chestnut Ridge Road
Elyria Police, State Highway patrol, and Sheriff’s sit in a turn-around access area about a 1/4 mile north of the Chestnut Commons Shopping Plaza. As soon as you pass through the stoplight at the intersection of SR 57 North and Chestnut Ridge Rd., the speed limit drops from 55 mph to 50 mph. The enforcement targets both northbound and southbound traffic.
