State Route 62 near Old BP Gas Station
Mercer police like to sit behind the old BP Gas station across the road from Sheetz gas station. They have a new black vehicle that looks like an ordinary car, but do not be fooled. It is a police officer. Regular marked police cars have been seen here as well. They sit here frequently and I have only seen them here at night when it is really hard to see them there.

Yes, they do sit here. Basically because a truck wiped out the traffic signal there a few months ago. But there is a lot of people who like to "slide" through the stop. All you have to do is "stop"..Its not hard...There is actually 6 lanes of traffic converging on this 3-way stop. If you get a ticket, its because you deserve it...
