State Route 66 near Lone Hill Avenue
Car and motorcycle police sit in the dark shaded areas under trees, on the eastbound side of Route 66, from Lone Hill east to top of hill entering San Dimas. I see vehicles being ticketed 2-3x’s a week on my way to work.

Still don't understand why the speed limit is 40 MPH from Cataract but changes to 45 MPH at Compromise line. I understand traffic speed surveys but this one is just dumb. Very wide road, minimal cross traffic and good visibility. One speed on Route 66 thru town makes more sense. But, I do understand to actually get a ticket in this area you have to be doing about 15 over....
