State Route 8 near Exit Number 24 Southbound
On Route 8, between exit 24 Southbound and exit 23 Northbound, State police sit in the median next to the bridge and use what appears to be LIDAR to check the speed of cars. With the nearest exit in either direction being about 3 miles away, they work alone and tend to concentrate enforcement on whichever direction their vehicle is facing so the officer can pull you over personally.
