State Route 89 near pmunk Street
returned from biltmore casino heading towards kings beach to squaw valley. came off hill from gravity entering town and stopped for 45 in 30 mile per hour zone which is unrealistic. ticket occured 1/8/04 thurs. 8:35 pm

Cal-Neva where the Biltmore Casino is located has an "enforced" 25 mph speed limit area on either side of the Casino.
Coming down the hill into Kings Beach from the Cal-Neva area is approx. 1 mile at 35 mph with a permanent, electronic "your speed" sign coming into town.
The Kings Beach 30 mph speed limit is "strictly enforced" in town on this very popular tourist stretch of 89 road due to the number of pedestrian fatalities over the past few years.
Let me see, doing 45 mph coming down the hill & got a ticket...
