State Route 9 near Splash Down
Watch out on 9 once you enter the 55 mph limit coming from Fishkil (north bound). It’s easy to get to 65+ on that straight section. I’ve seen a trooper about 1 out of 10 times while going south around 11-12 pm. He sits on that opening with a no U-turn sign. Sometimes i see one watching the north side near that section, but it’s fairly rare.

Once again, an active area of speed enforcment by the New York State Police but not in Wappingers Falls. This is in Fishkill.
