Be very careful and vigilant. The AZ DPS has very experienced officers on this stretch of state highway. They have K/Ka band radar. However the route has public crossroads every 2-4 miles. The preferred method of enforcement is to catch you with VascarPlus. If they see you coming up from behind they will turn off on one of these crossovers and start the timer as you go by. They then double back to the previous crossover while you unknowingly pickup speed. They will now do another 180 and come after you. All the while you’re thinking that they were not interested in you. As they go back by the point where they passed you in the opposite direction they will start marking the mileage. Once they catch up to you they flip the speed calculation switch on the VascarPlus box and lo & behold your busted !
