State Route 94 near State Route 585

Marshallville, OhioMay 02, 20041 Comments

The speed limit on Route 94 is 55MPH, then entering the small Village of Marshallville in Wayne county Ohio the speed drops to 55-50 then 35 MPH (used to be 55-35-25 MPH) So the State did raise the limits there so it helps out a little when it was 25 MPH they would get you good through there, now the Officers dont get as many speeders so they are on the lookout more so now than ever so beware, and they do use bother radar and laser. And can be out any day and at any time.
And that portion of 94 is a main route from Akron to Wayne county areas for drugs, so they are on the look out for that as well, so make sure you license plate light is working or you will get stopped for that too. And some will bypass the main drag there and take the back roads through the village to get around the main road, but they are also aware of that so be careful.
In their defense however, it is a residential area with businesses so you have to be careful for pedestrians and with a lot of children playing on the back streets in the neighborhood where the limits are still 25 MPH

Comments:
marshallville locals also patrol the state park at johnsons woods and issue citations for being in the parking lot after dusk. although they may not have jurisdiction outide the village limits, they also tag motorists on fox lake road between the village and the state park. do not expect any warnings here.
