State Route Transit Rd. Rt 78 near Walden Avenue
Transit Rd (Rt 78) between Walden Ave and Como Park Blvd. Multiple hiding spots on either side of the road. Speed limit is 35 mph which for a 4 to 5 lane road is rather low. Watch out near the high school and watch out near the train bridges. This stretch of road has been generating a LOT of revenue for the town of Cheektowaga for a long time. And that’s also the reason why it’s still in place.

Cheektowaga has its multitude of speed traps A Cktwg cop will ticket his own Mother and strap her to the front of a speeding locomotive! When you travel there, be sure to drive around it 'cause they gonna get you if they can and you gonna lose!' That is one Police Department you don't want to fight with.
I agree that this stretch of road is definitely watched but just so you know the speed limit is 30 mph and now its 20 by the high school. Be careful!
This area is either Lancaster PD or Depew PD not Cheektowaga PD. I don't care what the zip code says.
