State Route US 52 near State Highway US 52 around exit 129
While traveling south on US 52 just past the Pinnacle Exit 129 about 1/2 mile south. State Troopers will park on the right shoulder just across from the Pilot Mtn scenic overlook that is on the northbound lanes.
The will be in either their marked NC State Trooper cars or in unmarked red or black Dodge Chargers. I see them there every day.

I get off at the Pinnacle exit after work coming from Winston-Salem. Frequently they run radar on southbound traffic. This entire corridor has bulls running radar catching folks coming down from VA. I usually flash my brights after passing these but I don't know if it does any good-never get a response back from other warned motoerists.
