Beware to all. Due to increased complaints from citizens and the city government the Sugar Land Police will exercise zero tolerance speed enforcement on Sugar Lakes. I understand that if you are going 8 mph over you will get a $110 reminder to go 30 mph. The city did a survey and found that the 85th percentile was 46 mph. That means that the speed limit should be raised to around 35 mph. It would be a good defense in court. Hire a lawyer though, because if you defend yourself, you will lose.
