Sugar Mtn Dr begins as 35 mph off of Hwy 184. There is a big Sugar Mountain sign on the left about 1/2 mile that will catch your attention. Directly across from that sign the speed limit changes to 25 mph and you start down a hill. It is the only place on the road that you will be going down hill. The officer will be at the bottom of the hill at the check-in time for dumb tourists at the local resorts. The locals say he will write tickets for just a mile or two over the speed limit.
