Trap is at the bottom of a very narrow valley (like a roller coaster dip). Posted speed limit is 35, but because vehicles must climb a moderately steep hill, drivers have a tendency to use the downgrade to pick up a bit of momentum to help with the upgrade (in either direction). This natrual tendency to drive smart and energy efficiently is cashed in on by local police on a regular basis.
