Tennessee on US 72 between I269 and Mississippi Border
Very rural, hilly, 4 lane divided highway, speed limit posted 55. Cop said I was doing 71. I NEVER go more than 5 over posted. Was told court date 3 months from ticket. I saw only one other vehicle. Stop at 2AM. Clearly a revenue generator.

You were doing 71. You saw an open 4 lane and you were speeding. I can't stand when someone gets a citation and they "never speed". It's not a speed trap. Do thy sit out 24/7 yes. Is the speed limit posted? Yes. The speed goes from 40 to 55. More than likely you are one of those people (and I would bet money that you vote democrat) - I beg that pisses you off because you really do- but anyway I bet you are one of those people that always has to be in front. If you see a car you are going to pass them. They may be doing 55-60 but you are going to go 71 to pass them and as soon as you do you will go just fast enough so they don't pass you back. Is that not crazy how I just described you perfectly just from reading your post???
