Texas SH 114 at IH35 near Texas Motir Speedway
I drive through this intersection everyday at least twice. There are always at least two NLPD cars lurking in the area – I’ve see as many as four. Usually some one is being pulled over. What really makes this sad is that there really is no Town of Nortlake per se. No stores, no restaurant, no businesses. The only town assets seem to be a fleet of police cruisers and a prefab double wide police station located several miles away down a lonely rural road. How can this be legal?

Hmm might want to check your information . Northlake is one of the biggest land masses in Denton county and has all the businesses at 114 and IH35W including the motels,apartments and gas stations. Northlake also includes NB 35W all the way to FM407 which includes the new home subdivisions of Canyon Falls and Harvest just naming a few. You might just want to except responsibility that YOU did something to break the law and got caught ...sincerely law abiding citizen of Northlake!
I used to work there, they are required by the chief to stop a certain number of cars a day.. If not they could be terminated..
