This is the big one: Officer sits by the BP gas station mornings and nabs people rolling through the yellow light coming from Main St. onto West Main toward the highway ramp. This light is a THREE second light! It is intentionally short on a busy morning to lure victims into getting caught under the light. Officer often rules this spot, and is ranked as the top ticket writer in town, some 3,000 and counting! In the afternoons, the officer sits in the empty parking lot across from the Exit 53 off ramp. Again, a short light designed to frustrate motorists into rolling through the red and collect revenue from the tickets.
