The cop in Polo sits at the stoplight in an 80’s Gray Ford Crown Victoria, no lights on top, but can be seen in the back window. He will pull ya over for 1 mile over the limit, and U-turns are illegal, Fines are reported to be $250 for a U-turn in downtown Polo. Do not go over the 25 MPH speed limit, or he will pull you over and write a ticket. He gets people for California stops (not coming to a complete stop at a red light) This guy reportedly has the state record in Missouri for writing tickets, 5000 in one month. This in a town of 539 people. So beware. Polo is a speed trap.
