The speed zone changes three different times within a half mile. On the Cross Bay Bridge going towards Howard Beach the speed is 40 once you cross over the flushing toll plaza lights the speeds drops down to 30 instantly. On Nole Ave the speed is 25 until the last light BEFORE you get to the Call A Head company at which time its 30 once you cross that light After the Wild Life Center its 40.
Learned, that when the cop gave me a ticket for going 42 in a 30, which the cop stated I was going in the Call A head company area. When I stated the sign says 40, the cop say “nope not no more.”
