The Watterson
The Watterson has a maximum limit of 55. Maximum, not minimum. It is a heavily traveled and poorly designed intrastate. In construction, they used little care in in consistent elevation, correct camber designed for the speed limit, or entrance and exit tapers and placement. As a result, it is already prone to be a parking lot due to accidents. Tailgating, speeding and lane-hopping may only get you to your interchange (64, 71) so you can wait even longer. If we were all moving at 55, it would give the traffic ahead. already at the interchange, time to move through, instead of so many racing up there to contribute to the bottle-necked log-jam of traffic. Speeders slow everyone down on the Watterson, either by creating dangerous situations and accidents, or by contributing to a bottle-neck. Wait your turn. If you were going over the well-posted limit of 55, you trapped yourself.
