The whole town of Elk CIty.
The CIty of Elk City bought six new police cars, I counted five on patrol in less than 10 minutes from east 66 to west seventh. One was in Pursuit an other one had a woman stopped. Two were watching the stop lights on the off ramp from I40 and Highway 34. One was south bound on highway 34. The Elk City Police department has 37 full time employees and six reserve officers.

Unfortunately Oklahoma has no peace officer standards other than they must be at least 100 lbs. overweight, dysfunctional, and have been arrested less than 12 times for alcohol, oh I forgot: they have to have a Sooner sticker on their patrol car somewhere.
Let’s face it speeding revenue brings in a lot more than it does for stopping and educating a motorist for unsafe lane change or camping out in the fast lane traveling 10 under the mean flow.
Use caution operating in states where peace officers are employed for the primary purpose of creating revenue for the local communities.
