Throughout the town of Grand Coteau
Especially heading out of town toward Arnaudville, the Grand Coteau police will park up under an abandoned house’ garage or behind a fence. The speed limit signs leaving town are placed very close to each other, from a 45 mph, then suddenly 55 on the opposite side of the road and then a yellow 45 mph curve sign. Its hard to decide exactly what is legal.

We recently moved to the area. My husband was ticketed exactly in this area. We were headed to Arnaudville, I still cannot figure out how the officer says we did 55mph in a 35mph. I just don't believe it was true. But, we paid the $157.00 ticket, and learned what to watch for. Today, we drove the same route, three young boys were pulled over.
