Toledo Street
Toledo Street is a residential street with 25 as the posted speed. Difficult to see speed limit sign due to parked cars on one side of the street. After turning onto Toledo Street the driver is forced to watch the cars dodging in and out of the parked cars facing you. The police sit (hide) among the parked the cars. By the time you realize the speed limit it is too late. Even if you slow down they still issue speeding tickets especially to young drivers under 18. Older drivers are sometimes issued warnings.

How can this be a trap? the 25 speed limit is posted at soon as you go over the bridge to get into town. The street is hazardous because of parking, but why would you want to go fast when you can clearly tell it is a residential street. Divers ed 101 speed limit is 25 in all residential areas in town unless otherwise posted. I have lived in elmore my whole life and drove this street to school everyday never got a ticket, never saw anyone else recieveing one.
