East of Crenshaw Blvd heading toward old town Torrance. A motorcycle officer sits about 15 feet back on the NW corner of Amapola and Torrance Blvd (obstructed by a business on the corner). This is just east of the train tracks. Posted limit is 35, traffic regularly flows at 45. This is a deceptive length of Torrance Blvd. (between Crenshaw and Cabrillo) because the lights seem to be synchronized so that the main flow of traffic (on Torrance Blvd.) may pass straight through–results in lots of speeding. I often see people speed by me to be caught only a few moments later.
