It is a 40 mph residential street until the corner at Foothill. Downhill slope southbound, so it is easy to get up to 40 mph and then forget that the hill will continue to accelerate your vehicle. This is even easier in a low wind resistance vehicle. If you don't pay attention, you will easily be at 50 - 55 mph in the residential zoned street.
