Approaching town from the southwest, on the Cascade highway, you are on a long windy downhill, and there have been numerous 55 speed signs as well as lower speeds posted for the curves, somewhere on the hill the speed is lowered and as you arrive at the bottom of the hill there is sweeping curve just as the town comes into view in the distance. If you didn’t pay attention to the change in speed you will find that you are going too fast for the curve, even though you haven’t touched the gas pedal in ages. As you apply the brakes and and straighten up coming out of the curve there is a good chance of the sherrif or deputy will be there to give you a ticket.
