Trevilian Way near The Louisville Zoo/Joe Creason Park
When driving on Trevilian Way heading from Newburg Road toward Poplar Level Road, Cruisers tend to be waiting for people going over 40MPH (Speed Limit is 35MPH). The problem here is, during Spring and Summer the only posted Speed Limit sign this direction is obstructed by tree overgrowth. This has been this way for a few years now, a while back I got somebody out of a ticket in this area using photographic evidence of the obstruction. Surprisingly, nothing has been done about it. However, during the Winter the sign is visible.
My advice on this stretch of road is to not exceed 40MPH unless you know you’re safe.
