Troost between Gregory and 67th & Weston, MO

Motorcycle officer, no speed limit signs in that section, observed 3 stops within 45 minutes in that area on a day I had business in that area – all 3 cars pulled into the cemetery to get out of traffic and receive their citations. We have KS plates and most main roads are 45 mph in KS, MO it’s 35 mph. Of course, he was cited for 12 over. Speed trap in Weston on 4th of July – officer told me they were especially watching the very steep hill I came down that day – no warnings, just gave me a ticket, Kansas plates. Knew I would not travel hundreds of miles to fight the $80 ticket. 10 over in Weston. Missouri is the “Show Me No Mercy” State.

This dump, a town apparently rank with corruption, is definitely a speed trap. Speed limit changes multiple times and inexplicably in a 2-mile stretch of road. I was attempting to follow the speed limit officers did a U-turn in the middle of the highway when I drove by as though I was wanted for armed robbery. I believe I was going exactly the speed limit when I looked back at the map and the signage. Regardless, this speedtrap is predatory. Truly a cursed town, costing me and my family thousands in insurance money. I wish I had flown back and found this ticket in court, as I had a case. If you live here, shame on you for allowing your town to be governed in this predatory manner. I will never again set foot in Weston, Missouri, nor should I or anyone ever support a business based there.
