U.S. 15 South
Southbound U.S. 15 (four lane divided highway), after turning off of Route 20 W and driving down a steep hill that a bicyclist would have trouble avoiding exceeding the speed limit. The limit is 25 mph. I wonder if anyone has informed the locals that any political jurisdiction that accepts federal funds for their highway department must perform engineering studies before establishing posted speed limits, as federal law requires.

I intended to spend $1K or so on wrought iron furniture at a really nice shop in Gordonsville. After I do my best to beat this nonsense, I am going to write them a note to enjoy their low taxes and extortion game the town seems to be running. I'm sure not coming back or spending money there.
