Unmarked cars patrolling Allen Rd. construction area
Taylor police have two new unmarked Dodge Chargers – one is bright red and the other dark gray. These cars are issuing speeding tickets at the Allen Rd. construction area from Goddard Rd. South to Northline Rd. where the speed limit has been reduced to 30 and 35 mph from 40 and 45 mph depending how close you are to Goddard Rd. These cars are also seen issuing speeding tickets at the Telegraph Rd. and Ecorse overpass area speed trap where the road goes downhill. The cops sit in the Gardner White parking lot.

My cousin and I both got a ticket, a half an hour apart, on our way to a funeral home. We are both senior citizens and were going to attend the funeral of a relative. Both tickets were for impeding traffic. We are both going to court as feel these tickets were totally unwarranted. The same unmarked Charger ticked both of us in exactly the same location.
