US 129 aka Blood Mountain on Union County side
Officer, usually state trooper, sits in shade in low profile vehicle just past Vogel State Park entrance when heading up the mountain (southbound). Ka band is silent until you round the corner. Bad thing is that speed limit is now 35 mph on a road that was higher previously. Worse on weekends when trooper gets as much business as he has paper.
