This very thing happened to me today at this same location. So obviously they've been doing this for a long time. I was slowing down, but not fast enough for the cop apparently. When he finished with me I was still reviewing my ticket and within moments he had pulled someone else over, same location, same way. This is clearly a racket to raise cash at the end of the month, and the only way to stop it is for local merchants to be told that your speeding fine is the last dime anyone in that town will ever get from you again.
