I have been through the City of Coffeyville several times. I have seen a lot of cars pulled over. The Police work the hell out of the State’s "work zones" in the city- fines are double in those zones and the state hignway (US169) is always under construction. I was cited last fall, and again this spring. Both times the cops were ok. Don’t think about going to the local traffic court- it’s a waste of your time and money. THE COPS DO WANT IN YOUR CAR TO CHECK FOR GUNS, DRUGS, & MONEY! You don’t have to let them in your car. City has several canine units that work drugs too. I have been told by locals at gas station that they don’t like people of color. Watch your speed & the stop lights they work the highways really hard.
