From 8:00 am til 8:30 am and 3:00 pm til 3:30 pm, the speed limits drops from 55 MPH to 35 MPH for school zone. Often Science Hill Police Department will be writing tickets for "Speeding in School Zone" Double fine. They write for both North and South bound traffic. Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement in a Black Charger also patrols a lot during morning hours.

They do this so it's safer for our children. People don't want to be "bothered" by having to slow down for school zones so yes, I completely agree with them setting there busting the speeders. If you leave for work at an approprate time, then you won't have to speed to get there on time and vice versa. Do people really have to drive like a bat out of he!! to get home in the evenings?
