This trap has a speed decrease from 55 to 50. Everyone knows no one actually goes 55 so generally you get nabbed for 10 over as these DeWitt Township Police Officers sit along side of the road often.

They ruduced the speed in the early 1990's due to a rash of car/pedestrian accidents resulting in several deaths. It is a rather congested area and no one goes the speed limit anyway so I would not consider this a "speed trap". In my book a speed trap is where cops almost bait people into a speeding ticket.
