I live in this area, and can confirm a brown car with absolutely no markings, plus numerous marked state and county cars patrole this area, and often park in the neutral ground or on the side of the road in places that are to see them. With radar guns. Speed limit is 45, but traffic goes 60+. Numerous cross traffic, accidents, and deaths so the police need to get the speed under control.
