US-290 eastbound
DPS recently started setting up on eastbound side of US-290 approx. 1/4 mile past 55 mph speed limit sign in Paige. Sets up on parking pad about 50 ft off road behind large group of bushes. This zone is a sudden drop from 70 mph zone – very little time to fully slow down. Usually operating days, but night operation cannot be ruled out.
