US 422 (Between PA8 and PA356 Interchanges)
Local (using VASCAR) and State (using Radar) police frequently sit on shoulders in this narrow, limited access corridor of US-422. Butler Township PD will occasionally stage VASCAR on Duffy Rd. overpass with a snake pit (multiple cruisers and foot officers) at a point further down the road for westbound traffic, in order to play cat and mouse games. Eastbound approximately 1/2 mile past Lyndora (PA356) on-ramp, State Police stage radar from behind a large highway sign and are partially obstructed by the guiderail/sign/topography.
