Three sheriff’s deputies, armed to the teeth and wearing flak vests pulled me over for no reason other than me having long hair and driving a rental car with out of state tags (Florida). Leader said he pulled me over for an “improper lane change” (though I signaled passing someone), ordered me out of the car, then he and his buddies forgot what they pulled me over for and spent the next 30 minutes trying to scare and harass me into consenting to a search of my vehicle. They asked me about a hundred times if I had money and how much. They asked if I smoked marijuana. Morgan City law enforcement are manipulating innocent drivers into consenting to searches and then seizing any money you have, which you are NEVER going to get back. Don’t consent to any police search and keep your mouth shut. This is highway robbery by law enforcement.
