US Highway 101 near Cosmopolis City Limits
US 101 runs directly through the town of Cosmopolis. The speed limit drops from 55 to 35, then 30 mph. The local police are aggressive inforcers of the limit in both Cosmopolis and Aberdeen. Two or three mph over will get you pulled over.

What you are overlooking is that a children's playpark is on this route and no one seem to care enough to slow down for the kids. The police are doing their jobs and I support them.
How are we out of towners (in my case out of state) are gonna know that. They should post signs, better yet, make a 101 bypass with all the money they are collecting from these tickets....
