Heading north on 101 a mile befor the town of leggett,There is a big hill .Speed limit is 55 and posted.All traffic maintains 60 to 65 previous posted speed .Hyway patrol just line up at the side of road.Plane call down color of car and speed.They pull over half a dozen cars at a time

Yes, there is a speed trap here. I lived in Leggett for 8 years and have seen this many many times. CHP waits at south Leggett overpass, on the on ramp, usually on the north bound freeway on ramp while an airplane tags vehicles going over the speed limit, letting the ground officers know which vehicles to stop. CHP can and does work both north and south bound vehicles.
