US Highway 12 near 446th – 444th Avenues
The Highway Patrol is usually sitting somewhere between the 446th and 444th Avenue. The speed limit starts at 55MPH at the 446th and turns to 45MPH at the 445th. The level of enforcement is very very high. It is not uncommon to see 10 to 20 vehicles pulled over dailly by the HP’s in this spot. They do not get paid from the fine money but all of it goes to the county and court cost. You don’t really have to worry about the SO much in this location.
