US Highway 165 N/S near State Highway 133 N/ Hwy2
Entering Mer Rouge from Bastrop the speed limit changes from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25 in about 3/4 mile stretch and almost always their is a patrol unit thert, sometimes a car, other times a Suv, very low tolorance for speeding.
