US Highway 17 near US Highway 182
The speed limit goes from 35 to 50 mph. within 50 feet from each other,there is no in between that,so many motorist get stopped 10 feet from the 50 mph. sighn doing over 35 mph. but under 50 mph. the cops are usally hideing on the side road right before the 50 mph sighn,and he gets you doing in between the two speed limits.

I was lucky enough to find this little gem of legal capitalism! Simply driving along at the posted speed limit late at night... then the lights! I had no idea the speed limit could drop so fast. They are setup to make money, and they are doing just that. Be careful. You will not get off... they are there to buy new stuff with your money!
Passing though on 69 paying close attention to the changing speed limits through Alba-Golden. Drop down to 50 as soon as I saw the posted sign. Return cruise to posted speed of 65. Almost a mile down the road I see flashing light behind. Must be a ambulance only to be shocked; he passes the car between up to pull me over. I would not be upset if I had truely been speeding.
