US Highway 19 near Upson/Pike County Line
This speedtrap exists virtually from just South of the City of Zebulon, Georgia, where S.R. 109 enters U.S. 19 to the City Limit sign of Thomaston, Georgia, roughly 15 miles. The area of concentration seems to be around or near the Pike/Upson County line. GSP and county sheriffs will often be hidden just off HWY 19 on side roads and dit roads in this area in attempts to ambush traveling motorists. It is a rural area and seems this type of monitoring keeps the law enforcement personel in business. 24/7 be careful.

This is not a speed trap, speed limit signs are posted as well as speed detection devices are in use signs at the county line on all roads coming into the county. So you cannot say you were not warned! Do the crime Do the time, accept responsibilty for your actions, and quit blaming everyone but yourself!! Yall come back ya hear ; )
