Abrupt change is speed limit to 45 mph when one thinks one is still far out of the town limits. The speed limit of 45 mph begins early and ends late when travening east or west.

The Town of Livonia,from the Mayor on down is a sick joke. Every member of the Police Force are hated beyond compair. Even by neighboring Parish Law Enforcement. And if anyone reading this should happen to get a ticket, Remember this. You came have your case heard in State Court on demand. That's right! And if you choose to do so,you will have better than a 85% of having it dismissed. Why? The officer has to appear in Court,Therefor he has to be payed for his On Duty Time. This cost them money not you. And because of a normaly heavy Court Docket,chances are you can cut a deal with the Ast. DA, and plead guilty to a non- moving violation.If and only if the Livonia Cop shows up. If not They have to dismiss it. How do I know this? I've done it three times.
