This one works both ways on US 2 through Proctor. Westbound US 2 speed limit drops from 50 to 40 to 30 in short order around Boundary Ave. Watch for the signs as they are small. Eastbound, the speed drops from 60 to 30 with little warning as you enter town. After the traffic light (there is only one), the speed limit is 30, but as the road opens up going uphill past the park (with the DM&IR Mallet engine and a jet fighter mounted on a pylon), the natural instinct is to speed up. The Police wait right around the corner to catch people doing 40+ in the 30 mph zone.
